Big news from Le Raffort
Our beloved Chalet Bruyère is getting a little spruce-up this summer! After another fantastic winter in Méribel, Chalet Bruyère has more than earned a bit of TLC. Months of ski boots clomping through, après-ski laughter echoing around the rooms, and the odd rogue splash from the hot tub have all left their mark. So this summer, we’re giving her a well-deserved refresh ready for next season.Here's our vision...
Thoughts?
This is what we proudly submitted to head office with our quote… let’s just say their response was a very firm, “Maybe dial it back a bit.” Apparently, it was a little too ambitious for our budget, who knew gold-plated everything wasn’t standard? So we went back to the drawing board and devised a plan B. Don’t panic, we’re not changing the things you love. The roaring open fire? Still crackling. The bubbling hot tub? Still bubbling. The wood-clad Savoyarde charm? Still very much intact. But we are giving it a gentle refresh so think of it as a little alpine facelift.
So, what’s happening?
We’re giving Chalet Bruyère a lighter, brighter feel inside. It’s not a full renovation, no wrecking balls involved! Just some thoughtful updates to help the space feel more airy and modern while keeping all the cosy character that makes it so special.
We're talking:
- Fresher, softer fabrics
- Lighter tones to brighten up the space
- Little kitchen refresh so we can carry on cooking you delicious food
Basically: same lovely chalet, just with better lighting and a fresh lick of paint.
Why now?
Because Chalet Bruyère deserves it and so do you. We know how much our guests love staying here (especially that post-ski hot tub soak), and we want it to feel even more welcoming after a long day on the mountain. Plus, a little summer project keeps us out of trouble, right?

Everything that makes Chalet Bruyère a guest favourite:

When can you see it?
We’ll be unveiling Chalet Bruyère's new look in time for next winter, and we promise to share photos as soon as she’s ready for her close-up. So if you're already dreaming of snowy mornings, ski boots by the door, and a tartiflette bubbling in the oven, this is your sign to come back and see what’s new.
