Food and drink in a Chalet Company catered chalet

What meals are included at the chalet?

Our chefs will prepare delicious, four-course menus, five days a week. The fourth course will alternate between mouth-watering canapés and a delicious cheeseboard. On a further evening, you will be supplied with a traditional Savoyard raclette. Breakfast will be provided every day. This will vary between serving a cooked breakfast (five days a week), a continental breakfast (1 day a week) and a help-yourself cold breakfast buffet on your chalet staff’s day off. You will also be provided with delicious home-baked cakes or cookies every day, to be enjoyed when you return from the mountains!

Is there a limit on how much alcohol we can have?

Alcohol, in the form of beer and wine, will be served from early evening in the chalet and is free flowing for the rest of the evening. We want our guests to kick back, relax and have a good time on their ski holiday, but within normal limits. Should this be extensively exceeded on a daily basis, a generous limit may need to be applied. View The Chalet Company’s example wine list here.

Can you provide soft drinks?

Soft drinks are provided in the form of sirop, cola, lemonade and Orangeman. If you would like ‘mixers’ these can be pre-purchased before departing for your ski holiday, by contacting our client services team: anneliese@thechaletcompany.co.uk

Can you cater for vegetarians and vegans in the chalets?

Happily! Please let us know, in advance, that you require vegetarian/vegan options on your ski holiday. Our chalet chef will be delighted to prepare food according to your dietary requirements. You can view further sample menus from our catered chalets here.

Can your chalet staff cater for people with intolerances/allergies?

We will absolutely cater for intolerances and allergies in the chalet. Please make us aware, as far in advance as possible, and please be as specific as possible. This will allow us to change menus, clear items from the chalet, and brief other staff.

Can you cater for children in the chalet?

In our catered chalets, we offer a two-course children’s menu. Parents don’t need to worry about bath and bed time, as this is generally served at an earlier sitting. This means you can relax with a glass of wine when adult supper time arrives. For more information on this, or if you have specific requests or guidance for us, please contact anneliese@thechaletcompany.co.uk
